An Ondo State High Court sitting in Akure, has dissolved the 18 local government Councils in the state.
Justice A. S. Sidiq dissolved the Council while delivering his judgement in a
case filled by a human right activist, Mr Femi Aborishade challenging
the conduct of the last local government polls.
Mr Aborishade had filled the suit inbred of the people redemption party.
This is coming after legal battles raged on between the APC and last
administration over the election which brought in the local govermemt
chairmen.
With the inception of Akeredolu’s government, the governor has been
linked to the court case instituted,asking for the dissolution of the
local council executives.
