Ondo State Muslim community has called on the Governor to beware of sycophants in the administration of the state.
The Ondo State Chairman of Muslims in All Progressives Congress (APC) and Chief Executive of Crown Hospital, Dr. Abdulwahab Adegbenro emphasized this in an interview with The Hope newspaper in Akure, the state’s capital.
Dr Adegbenro observed that many people will be coming around the Governor only for their selfish interest rather than the interest of the Governor and the state in general.
He expressed high hope that the Governor redeems the promise to the Muslim community by appointing them into key positions in the interest of balancing the equation.
“We have got Governor and Deputy as Christians, I think at least the nearest major appointments should go to the Muslims in the spirit of fairness”, he explained.
He noted that the governor had promised the Muslims good show in his administration, believing that he will fulfil the promise.
