Ondo state house of assembly now has a new speaker. He is Mr Bamidele Oleyeloogun.
Mr Oleyeloogun defeated Mr Olamide George with 9 votes against 4 votes.
The house also elected Mr Ogundeji Iroju as deputy speaker.
Mr Oleyeloogun is representing Ifedore constituency in the house.
