Just In: IMF To Unveil Its World Economic Outlook Later Today

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) will today by 2pm Nigerian Time, and 9am in Washington DC, unveil
its World Economic Outlook (WEO) for the rest of 2017, 2018 and 2019 which will define global economy.

In this outlook, the Bretton Woods
institution is expected to review Nigeria’s expected GDP growth, which is
currently put at 0.8 percent for 2017.
Nigeria is being represented at the event by Nigeria’s Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun; Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele; Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations and Former Minister of Environment, Amina Mohammed; as well as CEO, Paga Nigeria, Tayo Oviosu.
