The Acting President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday signed three key executive orders.
The executive orders are:
1. Ease of Doing Business
2. Support for ‘Made in Nigeria’
3. Timely Submission of MDAs Budgets
The signing of the new executive orders is coming on the heels of arguement and counter-arguement on whether the acting president can assent to bills in the absent of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Recall that there were insinuations in some sections of the Nigerian public that the last letter written by the president before he proceeded on medical leave to London two weeks ago limited the powers of Mr Osinbajo in view of the tone which describe him as coordinator of government activities.
