2019: Atiku May Emerge APDA Presidential Candidate | The Precision

The crisis rocking the ruling All Progressive Congress APC may soon take another hot dimension with the unveiling of another breakout party from PDP, the APDA today in Abuja.
Political observers who are in tune with how politics works in Nigeria are speculating what is to come in few months. The newly formed APDA has personalities like AIT boss, Chief Raymond Dokpesi, former Labor party Chairman and others who are believed to be strong loyalist to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
Atiku have not relented in his bid to become Nigeria President, some political analysis says that the fierce pursuit of his ambition is to prove to people like his former boss, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo that his vow never to see him become President is not within his powers.
He was alleged to be sponsoring those on the Makarfi’s faction of PDP which Chief Dokpesi belongs to, the possibility of getting his presidential ticket in his current party APC, is like a mission impossible with the posture of Buhari and his handlers.
Some said, Makarfi and other are only still staying back in PDP to see to the logical end of the party before they eventually come out openly in the new APDA.
A member of APDA party who prefers not to be named confirmed to WAILERSNG that Some prominent Northerners, leaders from the Southern region, serving governors, legislators and even some members of Buhari’s government are also behind the new party but will not like to come openly at this material time.
APC’s deputy spokesman from South South Region, Mr. Timi Frank is said to be another loyalist to Atiku who may likely join others to defect to APDA enmass when Atiku is ready to defect from the ruling party.
From all indications as widely noted by some section of Nigerians, APDA is likely to be a Party in preparation ahead for Atiku’s presidential bid, another party that may merge with them soon is the People’s Democratic Movement PDM which he is believed to be a major stakeholder.
