The long absence of Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari from government is now part of the question and answer session on the GPS show hosted by Fareed Zakaria on Cable News Network (CNN).

The show often shown on Sundays on the CNN put up a question highlighting the absence of Mr Buhari in office for months.
“The head of state from which country had not set foot in his homeland for over two months?,” the presenter asked.
The options Mr Zakaria provided were Saudi Arabia, Cuba, Nigeria and Syria, while highlighting Nigeria to indicate the anwser to his challenge. It is yet unknown the rationale behind the question on the news medium.
Recall that President Buhari left Nigeria over two months ago for medical vacation in London.
Since then, there have been rumours by the country’s politicians that Mr Buhari has been totally incapacitated.
However, a delegation of governors of his party, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the main opposition, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) visited Mr Buhari last week. They reported that the president is fast recuperating.
