Sunshine Stars Football Club will be playing Rivers United Football Club in Portharcourt later today at 4pm.
A tweet obtained by THE PRECISION from the team’s twitter handle revealed that the Akure Gunners will be playing at the Yakubu Gowon stadium venue of the match in Portharcourt, Rivers state.
“Greetings from the Garden City! Today we play @RiversUnitedFC at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium at 4PM; NPFL week 30 tie. Update begins at 3PM,” the tweet stated.
THE PRECISION gathered that the Akure-based team are in danger of relegating from the Nigeria topflight as they sit in 17th position with 27 points from 24 games.
