In a keenly contested entrance examination, no fewer than 650 students are to be admitted strictly by merit into the six departments of the Ondo State school of Health technology for the 2017/2018 academic session.

A statement by the press officer, Ondo State Ministry of Health, Abooluwa Famakinwa noted that the permanent secretary in the ministry, Dr. Taiye Oni said this while monitoring this year’s screening exercise in Akure.

He commended the management and student for the success of the examination, which was devoid of malpractice, adding that the track record of the school has made it a hot cake that is keenly sought after nationally.

Dr. Oni also assured the candidates that the exam which was conducted using modern technology, will be marked by the computer, thus will be devoid of favouritism.
He warned the candidates not to lobby or bribe any staff for assistance, as candidates would be admitted strictly on merit.
Dr. Oni, while congratulating the to-be admitted students in advance, appealed to those who may not be admitted, not to be weary but prepare harder in future examinations.
The provost of the institution, Dr. Felix Olawoye, while revealing that the school pays the least tuition fees in the whole of South-West if not the nation, appealed to parents and we’ll meaning Nigerians to assist the government in the delivery of qualitative education to the future of the nation.
He advised students of the school to shun thuggery, robbery, cultism and all vices that are inimical to the well being of the country.
The provost also lent his voice to that of the permanent secretary in appealing to admission seekers not to induce staff of the school.
