APC Young Women Commend Party Leadership For Appointing Abiola, Ahmed, Azuatalam To Committee On True Federalism | The Precision

Azuatalam, Abiola, and Ahmed

The APC Young Women Forum has hailed the decision of the party to include young people in the El-Rufai-led committee on true federalism.

The youths inaugurated as members of the committee are Ismaeel Ahmed, SSA to the President on Social Intervention Projects, Jasper Azuatalam, Executive Director at NSITF, and Rinsola Abiola, SA to Speaker Yakubu Dogara and acting president of the Forum. All three also represent the party’s youth on the board of trustees.
In a statement issued on Friday by the Forum’s Public Relations Officer, Ms. Shirley Aipoh, the party was commended for staying true to the principle of equity and recognizing the importance of having young people contribute to deliberations and activities within the committee.
“Our great party, the All Progressives Congress, has consistently shown dedication to youth inclusion. This was further demonstrated with the inclusion of three young people, including our Ag. President, Ms. Rinsola Abiola, and we hereby commend the party leadership for deviating from the norm by taking youth inclusion seriously.”
“A lot has been said about true federalism and restructuring, and we believe strongly that if any organisation has a legitimate mandate to curate voices on the many related issues, then it is the APC.”
“We have utmost confidence in the ability of Governor Nasir ElRufai to steer the affairs of this committee. We also have strong faith in the ability and acumen of other esteemed members to execute their duties to the collective benefit of all Nigerians.”
“We would also like to congratulate our Ag. President, Ms. Rinsola Abiola, on being included in such an important committee. We believe that this is a testament to her patriotism, party loyalty and genuine passion for change, and trust that she will represent the interests of not only this forum, but of Nigerian youths as a whole.”
