The immediate governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko has described the demise of the mother of State of Osun Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, as an unavoidable end to a glorious life.
Dr Mimiko in a statement on Tuesday by his Spokesperson, Eni Akinsola and obtained by THE PRECISION said “the demise of the much respected and celebrated woman was unavoidable because having lived well and bequeathed legacies, she, like all mortals, has to go one day. The sad part of the demise is that like all great women who lived remarkable lives, she left family members behind who loves her and and who will surely miss her and all that she represented.”
“Mama’s reputation as a kind hearted, charitable woman who showed love to her family, her God and all around her reverberate in all the messages and tributes that have poured in since her demise on Monday and proves beyond doubt that a vacuum has been created that no one can fill.
“Olukemi and I pray that Ogbeni, his siblings and other members of mama’s family will find strength to bear the sad loss and look on to God to fill the vacuum the demise left,” Mimiko said.
