The Ondo State government has awarded contract for the renovation and infrastructural upgrade of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Ikare Akoko.
Conducting newsmen round the level of dilapidation of the camp, the NYSC State Coordinator, Mr Sunny Aroni said the intervention of the State Government is coming at the most appropriate time.
The Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, had during a courtesy visit on him by the management team of the State NYSC ordered the renovation of the orientation camp.

Aroni stated that the camp renovation and facility upgrade will enable Ondo State benefit from the Youth Service Corps Personnel Service scheme.
Adding that the kind gesture of the State Government will help increase the number of corp members deployed to the state annually within batches A &B for the purpose of servicing the labour market in the Sunshine State.
