Nigeria’s Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed’s fake twitter account that tweeted about President Muhammadu Buhari trip to the United States of America which has generated confusion in the last 24 hours has been suspended.
A check on the account @MohammedLai showed that social media platform, Twitter has blocked the account.
A Personal Assistant (PA) to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad also confirmed the suspension of the parody account.
After the tweet by the PA, some Nigerians berated him for not indicating the original tweet account of the Information Minister.
Some asked while the Information Minister of a government is not on social media in this modern world.
