Secret Service officers arrested a
person near the White House on Sunday morning and said the individual
was in possession of several firearms, according to a statement.

Service refused to comment further and declined to identify the
suspect. The agency also would not address a report on CNN that the
suspect is a man, who had several weapons in a car, and that he wanted
to speak with the head of the National Security Agency and the secretary
of defense.
