The majority leader of the Ondo state house of Assembly, Olumide Araoyinbo says Nigerians should eschew divisiveness and be united in the face of challenges. 

 

The majority leader gave the charge in his message to commemorate Nigeria’s 57th Independence anniversary. 
Mr Araoyinbo urged Nigerians to continue to believe in the leadership of the country while assuring the people of his constituents of more dividends of democracy. 
The majority leader who is representing the people of Akoko north east constituency 2, advised those agitating for self determination in the country to engage in dialogue instead of using violent means to achieve their aims. 
“we need to be more united that ever before and this is the only way we can achieve nationhood. The event of the last two weeks could lead the nation into another civil war,  but we thank God it was contain through the intervention of the Armed Forces. 
“We must know that unity and peace is paramount and those that are agitating for self determination need not go the violent way but use dialogue which is a key tool in conflict resolution”, Araoyinbo said.
