Alhaji Akorede in his sallah message at this year’s eid prayer held at Oda road in Akure, also acknowledged the appointment of four devoted Muslims into the state cabinet.
He advised them to take their responsibilities with utmost passion in order to move the state to a greater height.
Alhaji Akorede also enjoined Governor Akeredolu to always prioritise the welfare of the state workforce by paying their salaries and arrears as and when due.
He said he is delighted that Mr Akeredolu has paid the August salary of workers even before the celebration of Eid-el-Adha festival.
