The unity of Nigeria should be a prime factor as Nigerians celebrate the 57th Independence anniversary.               

 

Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Oleyelogun Bamidele David gave this indication in his Independence anniversary message. 
Oleyelogun commended Nigerians for their resilience over the years. 
He advocated unity as the major strength on which Nigeria can move forward as a nation. 
The Speaker noted that there is a lot we can achieve as as a nation in the comity of other nations. He commended our founding fathers for the had fought battle for the Independence which is being celebrated today. 
The Speaker urged agitators for disintegration of the country to desist as it would not do the nation any good. 
Rt Honorable Oleyelogun urged the different ethnic nationalities to live together as one in order to realise the dream of our founding fathers. 
He equally advocated a restructuring that would give every Nigerian a sense of belonging. 
While wishing Nigerians a happy independence anniversary celebration, Mr Speaker expressed hope of a greater tomorrow for the country. 
He  called for prayers for our leaders in order to lead us aright.
