Barring any hitch, Ondo State Radiovision Corporation (OSRC) will be back on airwaves on the 30th of November 2017.
Chairman, OSRC and Orange FM Management Committee, Mr Kunle Adebayo gave the hint during a courtesy call on Nigerian Television Authority, Positive FM as well as Breeze FM stations all in Akure.
Mr Adebayo told the managers of the three sister stations that the Akeredolu led administration is keen in ensuring OSRC is repositioned hence the need to shut it down for necessary reforms through the management committee.
He said government has procured state of the art equipment for OSRC to make it a cynosure in broadcast industry when it comes back on air with full digital operations in line with global best practices.
He said OSRC is poised to serving the people in a more professional manner and sought the cooperation of the sister stations for more efficient service delivery.
He commended the three stations for their pivotal and complimentary roles role while OSRC was shut -down for proper repositioning by state government.
Responding, General Manager NTA Akure, Mr Tunji Oladunjoye and his counterpart in Positive FM, Mr Steve Omonagbe commended the management team for their pivotal role in re inventing and re-forming state owned media for better services.
The media managers canvassed more training for staffers of OSRC to effectively man their new equipment when it re-launched operations next month.
Other management committee team of OSRC /Orangefm on the visit were Mr Soji Alakuro, Mr Steve Alabi, The Administrative Secretary, Mr Oluwole Ayeni as well as other management staff of OSRC.
THE PRECISION recalled that OSRC was shut down by the government on the 28th of March 2017 for proper re-positioning by the state government.
