Arrangements have been concluded for the presentation of the 2018 appropriation bill by the Ondo Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN to the State House of Assembly for consideration.
The Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Pastor Emmanuel Igbasan made the disclosure at a weekly press briefing held at the Cocoa Conference Hall of the Governor’s Office after the State Executive Council meeting on 20th Wednesday December, 2017.
Pastor Igbasan added that the State Executive Council had equally approved the mid term budget framework for the State.
“l’m happy to inform you that the 2018 appropriation bill will be presented to the State House of Assembly on 22nd Friday, 2017.
“Council also approved for the first time the mid term budgeting framework in line with global best practices, ” he said.
Also, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs Omowumi Olatunji-Edet revealed that Council considered and approved the advocacy and launch of emblem against Child Abuse.
The press briefing was coordinated by the Commissioner of Information, Mr Yemi Olowolabi.
