Former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has visited the headquarters of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja, thus heralding his formal return to the party.
At the visit, Mr Abubakar met with PDP party leaders chief among being the caretaker chairman of the party, Ahmed Makarfi.
On his facebook account, the former number two man in Nigeria wrote:
“My most sincere thanks to all party faithful who welcomed me back. I’m home.
“Thank you so much, Chairman Markafi, for your strength, hard work and steadfast guidance.”
