Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN has approved the constitution of the State Christian Welfare Board.
The approval is contained in a press statement issued in Akure by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Segun Ajiboye.
The Dean of the Cathedral of Owo Diocese Anglican Communion, Very Reverend Rapheal Agboola is the Chairman of the board. Popular Zion Singer, Pastor Benson Emitayo Ikuesan and Mr. Festus Oloye are members of the new board.
Other members are Pastor Akinwale Akinyanmi and Evangelist Abike Adebowale.
The statement reads in part :
“In his bid to strengthen the activities of the state Christian Welfare Board, Ondo State governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN), is pleased to appoint Venerable Reverend R. O. A Agboola as the Chairman of the Board
“Governor Akeredolu also appoints Mr. Festus Oloye, Pastor Benson Emitayo Ikuesan, Pastor Akinwale O. Akinyanmi and Evangelist Abike Adebowale as members of the Christian Welfare Board.
“Arakunrin Akeredolu wishes the new appointees God’s guidance in the discharge of their duties”, the statement added.
