Ondo state police command have described as an intruder, the customer who disrupted commercial actitivties at the Alagbaka branch of First Bank in Akure, the state capital over what he alleged as illegal deductions in his bank account. 

 

The Precision reported that the incident which happened on Friday made workers and customers ran for safety thinking it was a another style of robbery operation.
The police imagemaker in the state, SP Femi Joseph who confirmed the attack said the suspect identified as Engr Toluwalase Ojulowo, 32, is already in police custody helping with investigation on his mission to the bank.
He said Toluwalase hinged his action to destroy some bank property on the attitude of the customer care representative who first attended to him.
Joseph however said there was no justification for his action as there are appropriate medium to channel ones grievances.
“He claimed that he was being debited illegally but that is not enough reason to damage the bank’s property.”
“He is still with us helping with investigations. We will charge him to court for malicious damages and conduct capable of causing  breach of public peace.” Joseph said.
