A sociopolitical group by the name “Atiku House To House Campaign organization” has declared its support for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s Presidential bid in 2019.
The group led by Rtd. Colonel Obi Chinyere with over 18 million members drawn from all states across the country gathered their leaders in Abuja on Monday to declare support for the former number two man in Nigeria.
The statement signed by its national media director, Israel Fagbemigun called on every Nigerian to join the movement to rescue the nation from the imminent economic and political shipwreck.
“Taking a cursory look at the unfolding socio-economic and political events in our country, we can no longer sit and watch and we can no longer fold our arms and allow this country cascade into further economic decay, political and social upheaval when we still have good, competent and capable hands who can turn around the fortunes of our dear nation.
“Fellow Nigerians, at this critical time in the history of our nation where we are again approaching the crossroads in search of a viable and competent alternative to deliver our nation which has been held backwards by the leprous arms of incompetent leadership which has subjected our sons and daughters, our old and young citizens and our agile and productive youths to the pawns of hunger, abject poverty, unemployment, insecurity, crime, dangerous migration etc., the time to push for a rescuer in the person of Atiku Abubakar is now.
“It is an incontrovertible fact that Atiku Abubakar remains the most experienced and qualified among the politicians who are jostling to lead the nation come 2019. As a former Vice President and a long-term stakeholder in Nigeria’s political evolution since the 1980s, Atiku remains the only option we have to deliver our nation come 2019, the statement read.
The Precision recalled that Atiku Abubakar left the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) last year in what he described as the failure of the APC to fulfill its promises to Nigerians.

A PRESS STATEMENT RELEASED AT THE WORLD PRESS CONFERENCE HELD ON THE 26th OF FEBRUARY, 2018 ORGANIZED IN SUPPORT OF ATIKU ABUBAKAR’S 2019 PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRATION BY THE ATIKU HOUSE TO HOUSE SUPPORT GROUP
Fellow Nigerians. Haven resolved with the whole of our heart to with everything we have including our time, energy, resources and passion in exercise of our civil and legal rights of freedom of association to support and work towards the emergence of His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come year 2019, we, the over 18 million members of the Atiku House to House Support Group wish to call on every Nigerian to join this movement to rescue our nation from the imminent economic and political shipwreck. Furthermore, we wish to reiterate to fellow Nigerians the urgency and the essence of this call.
As a group made up of Nigerians from across all the ethnic groups, the diverse religious composition of the country and the various economic and social class of Nigeria, our stern and unwavering resolution is borne out of our love and passion for the progress and development of our beloved nation, Nigeria and to work towards the emergence of a nation we can all be proud to call ours.

Atiku Abubakar stands tall as the only Nigerian with the economic experience to rescue this nation from the present economic quagmire orchestrated by the outdated and atavistic policies of the government of the day. It is still an unbelievable reality today that we still run a volatile economy that thrives at the mercy of the global fluctuations of the price of crude oil despite the empty promises of change made by the present handlers of the economy. Owing to his experience as a former vice president and a successful career and businessman, Atiku is vast, updated and equipped with the requisite ideas, initiatives and policies that will transform the economy of this nation.
Furthermore, we are convinced that as a youth-friendly man, Atiku remains the only politician in Nigeria who can harness the productive strength of our youths by creating opportunities for them in the most vital sector that currently drives the global economy- ICT and digitization. The success of every nation today is predicated on ICT and Digitization, Atiku remains the only man who can activate this and place our youths in their rightful place and at par with their peers all over the world who are driving the global economy today.
With Atiku as president come 2019, Nigerians should get ready to bid farewell to hunger, unemployment, poverty, diseases, insecurity, youth restiveness, bad leadership, and corruption.
We also use this medium to urge the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), the only party that has the strength to rescue the nation from the decadent and degenerate All Progressives Congress, the deceivers who have plunged this country into hardship, darkness, confusion and backwardness, to as a matter of urgency work out modalities to adopt his Excellency, Atiku Abubakar as the sole candidate of the party come 2019 presidential elections.
It will be the wisest and most strategic political decision and consideration for the People’s Democratic Party to adopt His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the sole candidate of the party for the 2019 Presidential elections. With Atiku as the candidate of PDP in 2019, it will be a hard-fought walkover for the party. With Atiku as the sole candidate of the party, the party can go to sleep as the goodwill and wide acceptance enjoyed by Atiku across the country due to his matchless track records and experience, as well as the aura surrounding his personality as a tolerant Muslim and a detribalized leader whose impact in the lives of many Nigerians knows no colour, tribe, religion or class.
The call above is hinged on the several facts above which have endeared majority of Nigerians to support his aspiration. In addition, it is pertinent to state at this juncture that Atiku Abubakar is the only man with the political reach, net worth, resources, network and strength to unseat the occupants of the exalted seat of power in our land. The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, must harness this strength.
Once again fellow Nigerians, we the over 5million members of the Atiku House to House Support Group call on every Nigerian with the passion, love and desire for the development of this nation and a desire of building a promising future we can hand over to our children, to support the candidacy of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. We call on every stakeholder as well as our religious leaders, traditional leaders and opinion makers to put the interest and the future of this nation at the fore and support the candidacy of Atiku Abubakar for president come 2019. This is the best service we can offer our country Nigeria, today and the best gift we can preserve for our children.
