The Provost of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, Prof. Olukoya Ogen says his institution will partner members of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) in his drive to rid the citadel of learning of corruption.

Prof. Ogen who gave the hint while playing host to members of NIPR, Ondo state chapter in his office, said the core values of the body which are transparency, patriotism, and integrity among others are basically what are needed to advance an egalitarian society which he said his college is working towards. He said all hands must be on board to ensure that the challenges facing the country is salvaged.
He expressed delight for having an NIPR member, Mrs Olatuyi Oluseto as her Head of Public Relations and Information Unit and that since she came on board, there had been a big turnaround in the unit.
Prof. Ogen also promised to support the body in its quest to have a successful conference and annual general meeting coming up between 26 and 28 of April in Umuahia, Abia state.
Earlier in his speech, the chairman of Ondo NIPR, Lamidi Ishola lauded the provost for repositioning the institution to meet global standards as evidence in the stable academic calendar, ethical behavior among staff and introduction of digital system in the college.
He expressed the readiness to also partner with the college towards achieving its set goals.
“As public communication experts, perception builders…, we are ready to partner with your administration in your drive to make Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, an envious global brand among its peers,” Ishola said.
He solicited for the provost support towards achieving a successful conference at Abia state in April.
“Presently we have a council member, in person of Dr Gbenga Abimbola, whose representation has given us a national voice. We want to retain this position for our dear state. For us to achieve this, we need to attend in great number, as we know that politics is a game of number,” he said.
Members of Ondo NIPR who visited the provost included the Assistant Secretary, Mr Emmanuel Oginibo; a PR consultant, Mr Olukayode Ogunleye; Mr Kehinde Olomiye from NANNM; Mr Bodunde Tenabe from NIEPA and Mr Hakeem Adebumiti from UNIMED.
Others are Head of Adeyemi PR department, Mrs Olatuyi Oluseto, Mrs Olusola Olagundoye, Mr Valentine Fasuyi, Mr Abayomi Daramola and Mr Gbenga Omotayo representing the college PR community.
