The annual Pre-Ramadan lecture organised by Radio Nigeria Positive FM comes up tomorrow Saturday 12th May, 2018 in Akure, the Ondo state capital.
The lecture entitled “SECURITY AND ECONOMIC CHALLENGES IN NIGERIA: ISLAMIC SOLUTIONS”, will be delivered by an Islamic scholar, SHEIKH ABDULHAKEEM YAYI-AKOREDE who is also THE CHIEF IMAM OF AKURELand.
A statement by the chairman, Ramadan Committee, Leke Adegbite indicates that Pre-Ramadan lecture will hold at Akure Central Mosque by ten O’clock in the morning and urges Muslims in the state to attend promptly.
The lecture is part of Radio Nigeria’s contributions to broaden the knowledge of muslim faithful in Ondo State on contemporary issues and to prepare them for the holy month of Ramadan fast.
The Statement says Alhaji Iyiola Adejumo of Fortunate Bread will be the Chairman of the Occasion while the FRCN Zonal Director, Ibadan Zonal station, Alhaji Mohammed Bello and the general manager, Positive FM, Deacon Femi Oladipo will be chief hosts.
