A win for Remo Stars will make them keep their momentum on the top of Group B2 table and host, Ikorodu United will try their best possible to contain the Sky Blue Stars who are ready to pick another maximum points on the road.
Speaking with RSFC Media, Edozie Ewelike feels it is going to be a difficult game but he is very optimistic that he and his teammates will excel against the Oga Boys.
“It is going to be a very serious and difficult game because they know the quality of players Remo Stars have always produced going into any competition and they will have prepared extremely well to defeat us on Thursday.”
“They (Ikorodu United) also have a strong side, I am part of the team that played them in 2015. We defeated them 2-1 on aggregate but we want to defeat them in front of their fans this time around.”
“Like I said earlier, it’s not going to be an easy game but I am very sure and optimistic that we will get something in the game and we will push very hard to get the maximum points in Lagos.” Edozie concluded.
