Nigeria has named two uncapped players in their 30-man provisional squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Domestic league leading scorer Junior Lokosa of Kano Pillars, and FC Crotone’s Simeon Nwankwo join an expected cast of players which will be whittled down to the final 23 in June.
The squad will be led by team captain John Mikel Obi, and has usual suspects Victor Moses, Ahmed Musa and Odion Ighalo.
On the goalkeeping front, coach Gernot Rohr has named four goalkeepers, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Francis Uzoho, Daniel Akpeyi and Dele AJiboye.
