Elehinle, who was speaking in a telephone interview at the weekends with our correspondent, said, since the military are the architect of the system we are presently practising, then there should be room for amendment and adjustment to things that are no longer in tandem with the modern day system.
He said Nigeria should give way for restructuring as Nigerians are already clamouring for a better and affordable system that will make every section of the country workable.
According to him: “The system we operate in Nigeria was designed and packaged for us by Military Administration, mostly, during Gowon era which requires us changing many things and adopt some. So many things are wrong in Nigeria which we all know and aware of.

He emphasized further that, the agitation of Chief Olu Falae, and other political leaders on the issue should be considered.
On his programmes towards helping the poor, the Ipele born politician said he is doing so in order to alleviate the sufferings of the people he is opportuned to help. He urged the rich in the society to bring about innovations and ideas that can help the poor and make their lives meaningful.

He later challenged the federal government to make the system more employable for the teeming Nigerians who have been turned to “beggars” due to the  unfavourable political conditions, which he said, if given a consideration, could reduce sufferings and other social vices in the country.
Meanwhile, Mr Elehinle has congratulated the former Secretary to the Federation, Chief Olu Falae, over his 80th birthday, recently held in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
He wished the octogenarian more fruitful years ahead.
