The All Progressives Congress (APC) in ondo state has adopted indirect primaries for all elective posts in the 2019 election.
The party made the resolution after the state executive council meeting in Akure attended by Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, his deputy, Agboola Ajayi, the state chairman, Ade Adetimehin and members of the state working committee.
Speaker of the House of Assembly, Bamidele Oleyelogun moved the motion for adoption of indirect primaries which was seconded by Stephen Olaleye, APC chairman in Owo.
The resolution followed a stakeholders meeting held behind close doors which was attended by Senators Tayo Alasoadura, Yele Omogunwa and Hon Mayowa Akinfolarin.
Senator Ajayi Borrofice was however absent at the stakeholders meeting.
