The ancient town of Ijare in Ifedore local government area of ondo state came alive on Thursday as the caretaker chairman of the council, Hon. Alex Oladimeji restored the age-long abandoned street light system.
During the lighting exercise, Hon Oladimeji accompanied by supervisors of the two wards in the town as well as party faithful regretted that the facility has not been put to use for years, adding that its restoration will bring life and aesthetic to the town.
He promised to continue to prioritize the needs of every town in the council area in order to achieve even development.
