The speaker of the Ondo state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bamidele Oleyelogun has been re-elected for the third term to represent Ifedore Constituency in state house of assembly.
Rt. Hon. Oleyelogun defeated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate to emerge the winner and return elected.

Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress (APC) won twenty three out of the twenty six seats in the Ondo State House of Assembly in the State Assembly election conducted on last Saturday.
A summary of the results released by the Ondo State office of Independent National Electoral Commission INEC revealed that the Peoples Democratic Party PDP won two seats while the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP secured one seat from Ondo West one State Constituency and one female member emerged from Ilaje 1.
In another development, the Senatorial Candidate of the PDP in Ondo South District, Chief Nicholas Towofomo also won the Ondo South Senatorial district after the supplementary election after the inconclusiveness of the election held on February 23rd.
The result put an end into insinuations on the authentic winner of the senatorial election into the Ondo South Senatorial seat at the National Assembly.
