Ise-Isua axis of Akoko area of Ondo state has been under tension in the last few hours as an Inspector of Police attached to Isua divisional police station was shot dead by unknown gunmen.
Another Police Sergeant who accompanied the late Inspector narrowly escaped death.

The gunmen ambushed the policemen along Ise-Akoko-Isua road, border towns to Kogi and Edo states.
