In a bid to develop youths who will be ICT driven, Hon Simeon Toluwani Borokini, member representing Akure South Constituency I and the Chairman House Committee on Education, Science and Technology has partnered Haptics company in order to give intensive google digital skills training to participants of this year’s free summer school programme.
This is coming as one of the activities lined up for the grand finale of the Summer School programme sponsored by Hon Borokini which has seen the students acquiring various entrepreneurial skills of interest to them and are now experts in the chosen skills.

Mr Adekunle Ogunnaike, the Haptics representative explained that the training session is meant to take the participants through the nitty-gritty of Google digital skills and provide them needed knowledge for effective competition with their peers.
Some of the participants interviewed expressed delight over this timely training and appreciated Hon Borokini for having the young ones at heart as well as making them top priority in his constituency plan. They however looked forward to another summer school like this in future time.
