Hon Simeon Toluwani Borokini representing Akure South constituency I in the Ondo State House of Assembly has tasked the management of the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo State on the need to establish a cordial relationship and build a chain of connection with individuals and corporate bodies that are willing to partner with the institution to facilitate its developmental pace.
In a familiarization visit by the House Committee on Tertiary Education led by the Chairman Hon Felemu Gudu Bankole, Hon Borokini buttressed the need for the university to make its forthcoming convocation which is the first in the Varsity’s history an epoch-making and historical event as it will help attract great minds to the university.

The House Committee on Tertiary Education led by the Chairman, Hon Felemu Gudu Bankole, implored the institution management to emulate other institutions in the state in terms of infrastructural development.
Also on the visit were the Vice Chairman of the Committee, Hon Taofeek Mohammed Oladele, Hon Favour Tomomewo and Hon Tomide Akinrogunde.
