a. Producers/Presenters
Responsibilities:
i. Originating, planning, researching, producing and presenting programmes and documentaries.
ii. Searching for and developing talents and artistes.

b. News Editors
Responsibilities:
i. Preparation and editing of news bulletins.
ii. Producing and presenting news programmes and documentaries.

c. Programme Officers
Responsibilities:
i. Assisting in the production and presentation of programmes and documentaries.
ii. Conducting simple interviews and research and assisting in scripting and editing.

d. Sub-Editors
Responsibilities:
i. Covering news assignments.
ii. Assisting in the preparation and editing of news bulletins.

e. Production Officers
Responsibilities:
i. Manning, manipulation and operation of production facilities.
ii. Coordinating production operation.

f. Production Assistants
Responsibilities:
i. Operating studio equipment such as camera, vision mixer, non-linear editing,
line transmission, graphics, etc.
ii. Assisting in floor management, studio lighting, makeup and any other area of
studio and outside broadcast operations.

g. Engineers
Responsibilities:
i. Operating high tech broadcast equipment such as studio, OB Links and transmitters.
ii. Maintaining the standard of performance and operation of engineering and technical
equipment.

h. ICT /Online Officers
Responsibilities:
i. Designing, operating and maintaining websites and other digital platforms.
ii. Promoting station as a brand, with cutting edge online strategies on social media
and other digital platforms.
iii. Creating, generating, sending, receiving, storing, displaying and processing
information.

i. Marketing Officers
Responsibilities:
i. Sale and marketing of airtime and other broadcast product
ii. Undertaking commercial productions and manning sales and collection centres.
iii. Generating promotional ideas to develop the station as a competitive brand.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Applicants for positions (a) and (b) should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s
Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Theatre Arts or related discipline and NYSC
Certificate. Applicants are required to have proven broadcast skills, self confidence, a
good voice and a good command of English and Yoruba or Ijaw languages.

2. Applicants for positions (c) and (d) should possess a minimum of Ordinary National
Diploma in Mass Communication, Journalism, Theatre Arts or related discipline.
Applicants are required to have proven broadcast skills, self-confidence, a good voice
and a good command of English and Yoruba or Ijaw languages.

3. Applicants for position (e) should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass
Communication, Broadcast Technology, Computer Science or related discipline and NYSC
Certificate. Applicants are required to have proficiency in efficient and optimum
utilization of production facilities and application of production operations codes and
standards.

4. Applicants for position (f) should possess a minimum of Ordinary National Diploma in
Mass Communication, Journalism, Computer Science or related discipline. Applicants are
required to have basic production skills such as cinematography, photography, camera
operation, floor management, digital editing, master control room operations, line
transmission, studio lighting, makeup, etc.

5. Applicants for position (g) should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in
Electrical/Electronics Engineering and NYSC Certificate. Applicants must show evidence
of registration with COREN.

6. Applicants for position (h) should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or
equivalent in Computer Science, ICT, or related discipline and NYSC Certificate.

7. Applicants for position (i) should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or
equivalent in Marketing, Economics or related discipline and NYSC Certificate.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

1. Applicants above 40 years of age need not apply.

2. Applicants without basic knowledge of computer operations need not apply.

3. Additional qualifications and/or relevant previous experience will be an additional
advantage
