The conference, under the chairmanship of Ondo State Speaker, Mr Bamidele Oleyelogun said that the security outfit sought to complement all security outfits in the region and not replace them.

The speakers resolved that the security outfit was in tandem with the spirit of the constitution which was to protect lives and property for any responsive government.

The lawmakers also emphasized that operation Amotekun was a fallout of community policing laws.

The speakers added that the new security outfit would go a long way at curbing the worrisome security problem facing the south west.
