The West Foundation, a brainchild of Hon Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi popularly called West has cleared the medical bill of Miss Folake Adebayo, the young girl whose leg and arm were amputated at the Federal Medical Centre, Owo.
The travails of Miss Adebayo began when on 26th October, 2019 after a heavy downpour occured at Adeyeri Street, Iyere, Owo LGA, Ondo State, leading to the collapse of a building which housed Folake and others.

She sustained a higher degree of fracture in a leg and a arm, hence, the need to amputate the affected part of the body.
Since her successful operation at the FMC, the parents have been battling with the challenges of paying up her medical bills.
Also, she needs to go for artificial leg and arm surgical procedure outside the country but due to her non-payment of the medical bills of the first operation, she has been unable to travel.
The West Foundation was notified about her predicament and since it is within the mandate area of the organisation, Hon Ogunmolasuyi, the member representing, Owo constituency I in the Ondo State House of Assembly, led other members of the foundation to visit Miss Adebayo and cleared her medical bills.
Hon Ogunmolasuyi in a telephone conversation with The Precision NG in Akure appreciated the roles played by the Chief Medical Director, FMC, Owo, Dr Ahmed Liasu and the Director of Administration, Mr Omoaregba as well as the Surgical Department and entire FMC Staff for the support given to the young girl.
The father of the young girl, Salami Adebayo popularly called “Who say is easy”, was full of appreciation to the CMD FMC, Owo and his staff adding that the intervention of Hon Ogunmolasuyi as really helped in salvaging their plight.
