Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the trial of the founder of Sotitobire Miracle center, Prophet Babatunde Alfa and six others will commence tomorrow Monday, March 16, 2020.
The trial which was moved from the state magistrate court to the High court sitting in Akure, the Ondo state capital was over an alleged missing of one year-old boy – Gold Kolawole inside Prophet Alfa’s church in November, 2019.
The court is expected to hear and rule on the bail application of the Prophet and other defendants in the suit tomorrow.
The Precision NG reports that the Court had on 3rd February, 2020 picked the date after the defendants were arraigned and ordered that they should be remanded again at the Nigerian Correctional Centre at Olokuta Akure (formerly Olokuta Prisons).
