The Lagos state government has discharged six COVID-19 patients who have tested negative twice for the virus.
The state ministry of health announced this in a tweet on Saturday night.
“Six more #COVID19 Lagos patients; 3 females & 3 males were today discharged from the @LUTHofficial Isolation facility to reunite with the society .
The number of patients successfully managed and discharged in Lagos now 123,” the tweet read.

Similarly, Four family members of Late Dr. Aliyu Yakubu Daura, Katsina COVID-19 index case, have been discharged after testing negative twice.
Chairman Coronavirus Public Enlightenment Committee in Daura Local Government Area, Alhaji Hussaini Umar Rafindadi, confirmed this in a telephone chat with newsmen on Saturday evening.
Umar, who is also the Head of Local Government Administration in Daura, stated the discharged family members were four.
