As the holy month of Ramadan begins, a federal lawmaker representing Idanre/Ifedore constituency, Tajudeen Adefisoye has urged Muslim faithfuls to keep faith in the country.

Adefisoye, who is the Deputy Chairman House Committee on Army, also enjoined the believers to use this fasting period to pray against the covid-19 pandemic.

The statement made available by his Special Adviser on Media and publicity, Mr Oluyemi Fasipe reads:

“I warmly congratulate all Muslims brothers and sisters in my constituents and Nigerians at large on the grace to cross over to another Ramadan season. It is important to realize the need to continually keep faith in our dear country, Nigeria. I am not oblivious of the fact that the experiences of many Nigerians might make it difficult for them to still believe in the country; however, we can only be positive in this Ramadan season since we do not have another country”.
