“It is made to ensure that only qualified (i.e. those that passed through the specified standard training for a specified period of time, sat for and passed the final qualifying council examination) students are registered and licensed by nursing and midwifery council of Nigeria to practice in Nigeria and any part of the world.
“Students are expected to pass the final qualifying council examination in order to be “LICENSED” to practice as professionals .
“They are the first set of nursing students in Achievers University Owo, who were admitted in the 2015/2016 academic session through the University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)”, she said.
