El-Rufai Relaxes Lockdown In Kaduna After 75 Days

Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai has opened the state after 75-day of lockdown.

The lockdown became imperative to contain spread of COVID-19 following the invocation of the Quarantine Act and the Kaduna State Public Health Law to impose the Quarantine Regulations.

The Governor said from Wednesday, the Quarantine Order will be amended to permit a significant reopening of the state, especially businesses and places of worships.

According to the new order, Schools and Markets will remain closed, while Mosques and Churches are now to run only Juma’at, and Sunday services.
