NAWOJ Chairperson, Doris Olumoko Wins ‘Journalist Of The Year’ Award

An Assistant Manager News with the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA and Chairperson of the Nigeria Association of women Journalists, NAWOJ, Ondo State, Mrs Doris Olumoko has bagged the “JOURNALIST OF THE YEAR AWARD”.

The award which was presented to her by TOPSHOT NEWS, a media outfit in Akure, is in recognition of her doggedness in the Media Space.

The Publisher of the magazine, Mrs Ngozi Aduloju, said, the choice of Doris Olumoko for the Honour of Journalist of the year, is born out of her impressive track record as a Female Journalist who exhibits high level of Professionalism in the discharge of her duties and her Humanitarian disposition which has rebranded NAWOJ, in Ondo State.

Dignitaries at the event including the General Manager of NTA Akure, Mr Segun Ojelade, testified that the awardee have indeed, distinguished herself in the Broadcast Media Space and admonished her, not to relent.

The award recipient, Mrs Doris Olumoko, thanked the organisers of the event for choosing her for the honour among so many professionals.

While emphasising, that the award will spur her to do more, Mrs Olumoko dedicated the award to her Mother, Mrs Josephine Orauno, who according to her, has been the stabilizing factor in her Career and her support system in the homefront in the last four years of her Widowhood.

Mrs Doris Olumoko is a multiple award winner as she had in the past bagged over three Professional awards among other recognitions. (Empire Media)
