…To Be Distributed In Akure, Ondo, Other Local Govt Areas
The Senator representing Ondo Central in the National Assembly, Senator Ayo Akinyelure, has taken delivery of some transformers to be distributed to some communities within the six Local Government Areas of his mandate area.
Addressing a press conference after taken delivery of the first batch of transformers on behalf of Senator Akinyelure, his SA (Media & Strategy), Mr. Charles Akinwon, said the transformers will reduce the burden of the residents of these communities, when finally installed.
However, the Media Aide outlined some conditions for allocation of these transformers which must be met before a transformer could be given to any community.
1. Such community must have made all arrangements for installation with Benin Electricity Distribution Company Limited (BEDC) for the transformers to be energized 30days after delivery.

2. Ensure that all materials for installation have been procured and ready for inspection by our Engineers.
3. Such community must ensure that all metering modalities have been completed and agreed with BEDC.
Charles Akinwon, during his press briefing, told journalists that, “Second phase of transformers will arrive very soon. Though we cannot satisfy all these communities at once but I can assure you that the welfare of the people of Ondo Central is paramount to Senator Ayo Akinyelure.
He added that the distribution of Transformers by Senator Akinyelure, will boost power supply in his district and assist the self employed, Civil and Public servants residents of Ondo Central.
