It is often said that anything put in God’s hands is always secured and successful. This certainly informed the decision of the newly inaugurated State Executive Committee headed by Hon. Fatai Adekanye Adams to handover the tenure to God in prayer.
At the prayer session which held at the party’s State Secretariat, Alagbaka Akure, Muslim clerics offered prayers to Almighty Allah for a prosperous and purposeful tenure. Similarly, the State Women Leader, Hon. Mrs Kemi Adesanya, asked for God’s support and guidance as the new Exco commences operation. She also prayed for the success of the party at the forthcoming gubernatorial election slated for October 10, 2020.
Immediately after the prayer session, the State Exco Committee held a brief meeting aimed at charting a new course of action that will ultimately lead the party to electoral victory in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
The State Chairman, Alhaji Fatai Adams thanked God for the successful completion of the State congress saying that the success is wholly dedicated to Almighty God, and the victory to all PDP members in the State.
The State Chairman further said that no stone will be left unturned in order to ultimately secure victory for the party in the forthcoming gubernatorial election. He promised to meet with all the aspirants who contested with them at the just concluded state congress, all former gubernatorial aspirants in the last gubernatorial primaries under the party, leaders, stakeholders, and members of the party at all levels.
