Hon. Fatai Adams has emerged the new Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo state.
The Precision NG reports that Adams, a former Vice Chairman of the party emerged the Chairman after he polled a total vote of 1343 in the state congress on Tuesday to defeat his rival, Hon. Dennis Alonge-Niyi who polled 386 votes.

In his reaction, Adams promised to embark on a reconciliatory mission in order to solidify the party.
Meanwhile, Hon. Alonge-Niyi has congratulated Adams over his victory.
According to him, he has accepted the election in good faith and hopes that the outcome won’t spell doom for the party.
