Keep The Peace And Be Law-Abiding As We Wait – Jegede Finally Speaks On Ondo Election

Candidate of the PDP in the just concluded governorship election in Ondo state, Eyitayo Jegede has urged the people of the state to be peaceful and law-abiding.

Gbenga Akinmoyo, media aide to the legal icon in a statement on Friday and obtained by The Precision NG thanked the electorate for coming out to express their constitutional powers by voting for their choice.

Jegede was runner up in the October 10, 2020 election scoring a total of 195,751 votes. He was defeated by incumbent governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu who polled a total of 292,830 votes.

APPRECIATION MESSAGE

I wish to extend my sincere appreciation to all the good people of Ondo State who voted at the governorship election held on 10th October 2020. I thank those who conscientiously voted for PDP and also thank those who did not vote for us because you still added value to the democratic process by virtue of your participation.

My appreciation goes to the electorate throughout the 18 LGA’s for your collective sacrifice and belief in our democracy.

I encourage you all to continue to keep the peace and be law-abiding as we wait.
