Resident Doctors at the University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital Complex (UNIMEDTHC), Ondo State have embarked on an indefinite strike.
The doctors had last week embarked on a three-day warning strike to call government attention to their plights.
The latest decision to go on indefinite strike was taken at the end of an emergency meeting held in Akure, the state capital on Monday.
The doctors said the strike action became imperative because the state government has failed to address their demands.
They lamented that they are being owed four months salary arrears by the state government. (Newstrack)
