The Ondo State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has commiserated with Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, government and the good people of Ondo State over the sudden death of the Chief of Protocol to the Governor, Tosin Ogunbodede, Esq.

This was contained in a statement signed on Wednesday by the chairman and secretary of the PR body, Lamidi Ishola and Sunday Omosule respectively.

NIPR also expressed deep sympathy with the family of the deceased driver, Mr Leke Ajiboye who died in the same fatal accident, stating that the duo were not only gentlemen, but competent and hardworking officers who added immense value to governance in Ondo State.

“Though death is a necessary debt for all to pay, however, for Ogunbodede and Ajiboye to have paid it at an unripe age is indeed a huge blow to us and a complete devastation to their wives, children and the families.

“We pray God to grant their souls peaceful repose, comfort Mr Governor, the two families and associates in these very challenging times,” the statement from the PR body read.
