Comrade Kemini Godswill Doubra, a leading contestant for the position of Chairman of Ekiti State University Alumni Association, Ondo State chapter, has harped on the need to build and sustain a bridge of unity and progress among members.

Doubra made this known to newsmen shortly after arriving Akure, the state capital in preparation for the July 3, 2021 election of the Association.

According to him, the Alumni Association deserves better than what it is now, stressing that his agenda would be to position it to an enviable height for the benefit of all.

Doubra said his “strategic group” has started drawing a template of operations which will give room for the active participation of all elders of the association.

He said: “From all indication we have won the election, it is a done deal, but we will need to build the bridge of unity for the benefit of all Alumni in Ondo Chapter.

“Having assumed my self as the winner even before this election, I am already working to bring our leaders of thoughts together including my Co-contestants.”

He mentioned the leaders and other opinion sharpers of the Alumni to include: Comrade Jaja, Ojo Victor, Kunle Oyegoke, Kunle Odidi Sam Ogunmusi, Segun Odidi, Barr. Comrade Bayo Ololajulo, Adelokiki Sunday, Comrade Muyiwa Cole, Ralph Akinrolabu , Dr Adeola, Comrade Eric Yanyagbini , Comrade Femi Dabo, Hon Arikawe , Dr Kayode Ogunro, Hon. Timehin Adelegbe, Hon Gboye Adegbenro and Mr Wale Jegede and other notable leaders of the association.

He concluded that his executive will make the elders automatic members of the advisory Council.
